I was watching an episode on discover.ca about Nostradamus, and so decided to do a search on who MABUS was. Apparently, that is his code name for the third anti-christ. I then proceeded to search for his quatrains and found a link to the Nostradamus Quatrains.

Randomly reading his quatrains, I came upon this:

When the litters are overturned by the whirlwind
and faces are covered by cloaks,
the new republic will be troubled by its people.
At this time the reds and the whites will rule wrongly.

Litters being overturned by whirlwinds: force of bombs exploding?
Faces covered by cloaks: Afghanistan? Iraq?
The new republic will be troubled by it's people: hey, there are terrorist attacks every day in thsoe countries against their new government
The reds and whites will rule wrongly. America is not donig a good job of governing them!

Whoa .. so what does this prove? That Nostradamus' predictions are true? That we can fit anything into the quatrains in hindsight?
