[limg=904]I love the sun and it's radiance. Too bad I am often nocturnal from my work, preferring to work in the peace of night than the light of day with many distractions. The unfortunate outcome of that is that I do not get to feast my eyes much on sunlight.
However, when I do get to see the sun, I love to capture it in all it's radiance with my camera. When my Canon S30 was broken, it was very difficult to capture the images with a simple point and shoot Canon S230. Without manual features that allowed me to alter the aparature, my images lacked the ability to capture the mood.
[rimg=707] This is an example of the image that I was able to capture at Wasaga beach of Felix and Idy. You can observe the apparent lack of manual control with the Canon S230 as I was unable to tinker with the shutter speed and the aparature settings. A slightly darker atmosphere would've been nice.
[limg=170]Most people can't even start to guess where this place is. People I know walk by this place every day and remark about it's uglyness or stench. Yet, with a proper camera and some cool manual settings, this location can be captured as a landmark of beauty. I shall leave the readers guessing as to the actual location that picture was taken.
Now with my Canon S80, these pictures are live and beautiful again. Besides describing a little bit of photography, the main purpose of this blog was to test out my image macros that will draw images from my coppermine photo albums via tags that I place in my blog.
