[rimg=940]Happy New Year everyone! It has been a while since I last blogged. I have been out and about having a lot of fun! I believe I mentioned my sudden rush of poker games that I have been playing after having not played any poker in ages. Why is it the girls are always the best? Idy is one of the scariest poker players at the table! Yes, even PA is into poker! The way I see PA, it's poker, dragonboat and volleyball. One of the funnest teams/associations in dragonboat.
[limg=936]Of course with all the luck that I have to put out for poker, I got destroyed on Big 2 and Briscola while playing that with Hilda during our break from a most delicious and filling sushi buffet! I love that buffet and could eat sushi all day every day!
[rimg=935]Here is a picture of one of the crown jewels of my boxing day shopping. Not only an extremely good deal, this sword is also amazing! It is made of heavy steel that can be sharpened, although I am not going to, and it is really huge! As seen in the picture, it is actually longer and is heavier than my katana. My katana is supposed to be a two handed sword! I bought this sword to train with, however I might have to purchase a smaller sword to start off with as I would like to avoid slicing and dicing people and objects around me. Then again, as Ben said, this looked more like a sword that I would wield. I look more of a broadsword person than a straight sword person.
[limg=942]Finally, I spent new years countdown with people I haven't seen in ages! My team won two games in a row of Cranium! You can see my cranium mascot before he got reintroduced into the clay pile. We were supposed to spend the evening at a casino but ended up at Ben's. I made up for it by coming out in the final 2 of 8 people in poker while being chip leader. Unfortunately I didn't do too well in the 1st game going all in on round three. Then again, there is a reason why they call this gambling. You need to take a few risks.
