Californian Paraplegic Man Suffers Spider Bite, Walks Again – cbs2chicago.com

A motorcycle accident almost killed David 21 years ago. At the time he might have wished he was dead.

“I asked my doctor, “sir what happened?’ I can’t feel my legs,” said David.

Ever since, David’s been relying on his wheelchair to get around. Then the spider bite. A Brown Recluse sent him to the hospital, then to rehab for eight months.

“I’m here for a spider bite. I didn’t know I would end up walking,” says David.

This is awesome! Everything in the world can balance itself out, if we try hard enough.

Take traditional Chinese medicine, TCM, for example. Some people may disregard TCM as it doesn’t immediately solve a person’s symptoms.

Afterall, when one musters up all their willpower to down a bowl of a nasty tasting concoction, some immediate gratification should be in order.

Instead, it is day after day, week after week and sometimes months after months of consuming putrid tasting and smelling “teas”.

Finally, when one is cured, there is doubt as to whether that centipede tonic, crushed seashells, and white powdery bark really made a difference, or if it was a placebo effect and the body naturally healed in time.

Yet, as this article would illustrate, there are cures for almost everything that can be found somewhere in nature.

Google CEO Says Company is Letting Cash “Pile Up”

“We’ve not really discussed a dividend payment. At the moment our view is to let the cash pile up.”

Google is still rich! Whoever thought Microsoft was going to rule the world … was wrong!

Control all information, then everyone will go to you for information. That drives traffic and thus ad hits!

I wonder what Google has in store for its huge surplus. Perhaps if the economy hits Microsoft hard enough, Google could potentially buy it up!

Subject to US anti-competition approval of course. However, they don’t exactly produce the same line of products …

Defense Tech: Now Aussie Pilots Can Suck and Still Kill MiGs

In a world first for an Air Force and an infra-red guided missile, Air Combat Group ACG of the Royal Australian Air Force has successfully carried out the first in-service ‘Lock After Launch’ firing of an ASRAAM Advanced short-range air-to-air missile at a target located behind the wing-line of the “shooter” aircraft.

They should just make aircraft with rotating missile pods. Now I can’t exactly vouch for the structural integrity of rotating missile pods and am not sure if they will shear off a plane flying at supersonic speeds, but it would seem like you could fly a plane as slow as a Herc through a battlefield and be almost untouchable.

Think Spectre gunships that have awesome air-to-air defense!
