Oh when the Saints go marching in … to Superbowl history

If you can’t be at the super bowl making pictures, then make pictures from your home. It was a touching moment as Drew Brees carried his son, sharing a once in a lifetime moment with little Brees.

I love this picture of little Brees, so oblivious to the significance of the event he was a part of, looking innocently around, probably bewildered by the sea of humanity that surrounded him.

One mistake by one of the best quarterbacks sunk his team. That is the way the Super Bowl works. I love the concept of playoffs like the other sports. After all, everyone does have an on and off day and you could say it won’t be fair for someone to lose on an off day.

Yet, the one chance format of the super bowl adds all that much more excitement to the game. It dictates that you have a good day on game day. You only bring your best … or don’t show up.

Props to the Saints for overcoming as an early 10 point deficit.
