Ocean meets mountains in Alaska.

I’ll ask her … (Alaska)

Ocean meets mountains in Alaska.

Ocean meets mountains in Alaska.

The past few days have been spent catching up with friends whom I have not seen in the past four months.

It’s different from when you go to school. While I’ve always never quite been in one place for very long, I’ve always managed to at least chat with people online, or drop by cities and towns to visit friends and update each other on our lives.

Being half way around the world makes it a little harder to keep in touch.

While showing my friends my pictures, I discovered many that I had simply forgotten that I had taken due to quick edits while on the move.

I’ll post these up in the days to come.

This picture is of Alaska as taken from the airplane as I travelled from Calgary in Canada to Narita airport in Japan. The scenery was so beautiful. Global warming had better not destroy these beautiful permafrost landscapes.

In related news, a giant glacier has broken off in the arctic on the anniversary of the term “Global Warming”.

As reported on Discovery News,

On August 8,1975,the journal Science published the article entitled “Are We on the Brink of a Pronounced Global Warming?” by Wallace Smith Broecker of Columbia University.
