Rocking the Live Concerts

One of the things I love about summer are the outdoor free live concerts usually held in the parks.

My sax teacher Kristen was playing tonight so a few of us made it out to cheer her on. The group was very professional and sounded great. There was even this one girl who had a pink trombone. That was kinda unique. Too bad I had no zoom lens.

Unfortunately the Missisauga City Centre is being renovated this year. I rather miss sitting on the grass in front of city hall absorbing the Missy Pops, MSO and other great performances.

Last year, one of the motown performances by bluSoul was my favourite. Right down to the irony of having a massive storm roll in sending everyone running for cover after the group sang I Can Make It Through the Rain.

Had wings with Mel and Zeek after. Haven’t seen them since I got back!
