That seemingly gibberish way of texting could sometimes be warning signs of a virus. In fact, a trojan virus could have caused a 2008 airplane crash in Spain! While the article doesn’t say if the components were from off the shelf parts, it is a lot cheaper to create airplanes using off the shelf components. Yet, those components would be susceptible to the same viruses that plague our every day computer systems.

Your off the shelf computer parts definitely couldn’t print meat though. Even if it could, it would be nice to get meat not infected with viruses.

What’s left of that meat could be handed to these canine lifeguards who apparently are sent in off helicopters and ships to rescue people. Doggy paddling life guard for the win!

While those dogs rescue those who apparently do not fit into the survival of the fittest model, we should be reminded that even in the past humans have used technology to evolve ourselves. What we lack from natural selection , we make up for with the ability to use tools to add that functionality to ourselves.

That is a trend that continues until today as our longer life spans suggest a slower rate of evolution.

With our inability to evolve wings and hawk eye vision, we develop things like the  UAV to fill that requirement. A whole swarm of them could be headed to Iran, depending on the outcome of Israels’ response to Iranian’s insistence on building its nuclear program.
