A day at the CNE 2010 (aka the EX)
In 1878, Toronto hosted the first CNE with over 100,000 people, making it a success. Today, this 132 year old fair attracts over a million people.Day started out with searching for taichi guys. Although we only had three hours of sleep ande made the hike down to Toronto at 7am, our contact slept in. So we did not find the right Taichi guy and ended up having breakfast.
We took a quick walk around town and spotted this book store. Looked like creepy. I won’t be surprised if they had the Egyptian Book of the Dead or something in there!
After that, we were off to the CNE!
Beware of the white stuff you drink out of milk cartons! :S
We missed most of the air show while shopping, not like I could’ve shot it anyway as I only had a 24-70 and a point and shoot. However, you try to make do with what you have.
We were convinced every time the pilots needed a break, they’d bring the slow moving navy ship into the show.
There was also an art show with sand sculptures and a stone balancing act. It takes a lot of patience and perseverance to have balance stone!

Cheryl-Ann Webster's Beautiful Women Project featuring 120 life size clay sculptures molded from real women aged 19-91.
Ok, MJ wasn’t quite a sculpture, but he was a pretty scary doll.
Had a nice poutine for dinner then we savoured the night life.
To take that shot, I had to boost my point and shoot to ISO 3200. Kinda soft, but not bad I guess, considering it was the best zoom at 100mm that I had on me and shot from way far back.
On our way, out, I spotted this kid.
It was more of a chill day at the ex and there were a lot of things we didn’t get to see, but still, had a great time!
