Veal Burger from California Sandwiches

Today Jayson and I got treated by the boss, Reg, to lunch at a place called California Sandwich at Dundas and Winston Churchill in Mississauga. It was my first time at the place and I decided to try their specialty veal burger.

I loved the crispiness of the veal although part of that was softened by the sauce over time. The sweet sauce had just enough flavour that it didn’t overwhelm the veal patty. The meat was thin and crispy. Actually, it reminded me of eating schnitzel.

It was a pretty big helping and definitely filled me up! It’s definitely worth checking out!
