Ok, so my Singlish sucks compared to this guy’s. Kinda wish I made more frequent trips to the island nation! Enjoy the video hosted by Shan and Rozz 98.7FM.

It’s kinda funny how he switches his accent at about 1:28. I wonder if he normally speaks in his American accent or Singaporean accent? It’s cool how even though he’s spent 9 of his 16 years in Singapore, he still speaks with his American accent.

The girl Rozz in contrast, speaks with a western accent at the start, then drops into the Singaporean accent.

It’s more than the words, but the culture, knowing what words to say, not just how. The scenarios are awesome!

Apparently, many young foreigners are moving to Singapore citing a better quality of life there. There is even a site for expats and includes this guide on relocating to the country.
