Recently, my friend Karen, with help from Sally, Joanne, Doris and Christy, organized the Lion’s multicultural variety show.

They asked me to be one of the photographers for the show and since it was for a good cause and I knew most of the committee, I decided to help out. More of an excuse to hang out with old friends really. It was as much a UW Hip Hop event as it was a Lions club thing.

With an entertaining performance, including a song, sang in Chinese by Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti, the event managed to raise $10,000 for the Markham-Stouffville Hospital!

Congratulations to Karen, the Lions clubs and everyone involved for job well done!
