Tim Horton's Beef Lasagna Casserole

I finally took the opportunity to taste the Tim Horton’s beef casserole. I thought I would eat at two different Tim Horton’s before I wrote a review.

I had been eyeing this delicious dish for a while and finally went to Tim Horton’s when they had not yet run out of the dish.

My first impression was that it had a hearty portion of meat. Sometimes when you dine at coffee shops, they expect noodle to fill you up onbolace of yhr meat. But in this case, I was happy with the meat portion.

The first time I went, the beef was definitely overcooked. It was way too chewy and not tender. The second time however, the beef was decently tender.

My guess is that it matters how long it stays in the heating tray as it is continuously warmed up and cooked. Beef cooks easily.

I liked the flavour. One of my initial concerns was that it might have been too salty. But that wasn’t a problem.

A medium portion left me hungry again in about two hours but I am all for smaller portions of food.

I think if I need quick food in the day where I can afford some time to eat, this one goes on my menu.
