The owner, Eric, wanted a logo that symbolized a few things

• The hostel was for guests who could afford a hotel, but wanted the community of a hostel.
• It was to be a little “yuppie” in nature, a bit more of a flashpacker

So I came up with a few designs that revolved around the concept of a fedora hat and loose fitting tie.

After a few edits, Eric and the co-owner Frank decided upon this variation carrying a backpack.

Deliverables included the logo, business cards and a flyer. Eric and Frank loved the logo so much that the emblazoned the logo on everything in the hostel. When they sold their hostel, they kept the logo for their next venture.
